Ice breaker

The renovation of an old warehouse in the Mecenate area of Milan gave the possibility of creating industrial style apartments. The client expressed the desire to have a custom-project developed on two floors with a free plan, natural light, a small outdoor space, for a single person or maximum of 2 people. The ideal space would have a delicate atmosphere that creates a sophisticated environment, light colors that give greater brightness in contrast to the elegant use of black, accessories with contrasting color accents and transparent and glossy elements.

A large living room is divided by furnishing accessories and creates a reading area, a sitting area and a dining room, where we find a kitchen with peninsula. There is a small hidden warehouse and a bathroom on the main floor. On the upper floor there is a hallway that leads to the master bedroom with a see-through access. The room has an open walk-in closet and a private bathroom. The mezzanine structure of the night spaces is open to the living area. From the hallway there is access to an outdoor area with terrace, where it is possible to have a barbeque with friends or simply enjoy the green space created in a very noisy and polluted city.
